Hey there. There's two ways you should consider going about being considered by a modeling agency. You can submit your photos by e-mail through their Web site or you can go to an open call. Open calls are normally only once a week and are for 1 hour only that day.

If you decide to submit your photos via e-mail, you need to send the agency four headshots and three full body shots. You should have your hair pulled back in a pony tail and look natural (very little to no makeup). It's also recommended that you wear a two piece bathing suit. They want to get an idea of your body type. The two headshots should consist of two pictures of your face straight on - one of you smiling and one without you smiling. The other two headshots are your profile shots - right and left side. The full body shot needs to be one of you straight on and two of you standing to the side (profile). They want to see what your posture is like, etc If you decide that you want to go to a walk-in/open call to meet with a rep. from the agency, it's recommended that you bring any photos you have of yourself. They do not have to be professional photos. Regular, old plain ones are fine. If you have one's like the ones I described above, that's even better. If they see potential in you, they may do a test shoot with you that day to see how well you photograph.

There's several agencies that you can consider going to an open call for or emailing your photos to; FORD MODELS, WILHELMINA, QMODELS, MINX, REQUEST, CLICK, ELITE......You can find more by doing a Yahoo! search for 'Model Agencies' Be sure to read what their requirements are (age, height...) of any agency site that you visit. A lot of agencies are........they don't like to have their time wasted. Make sure you and your photos meet that specific agencies requirements. Don't be afraid to consider agencies that are abroad as well and remember that there's different divisions in model agencies (print, runway...so the requirements differ).

There are also Web sites where agencies go to in order to find new models, as opposed to have people submit their photos directly to them. If you visit these, you can create an account, upload your photos and wait for a rep. from an agency to contact you. One of those Sites is ModelScouts.com

I've provided several links below for you to check out. Good luck!
