I agree with the web site thing, but also tell everyone you know. Word of mouth gets around good too. We all know how people like to talk. Also, if someone has bought a piece or some of your jewelry, there's some free advertisement for you. I wish I had the time to start my own jewlry business. I love making it!

If you don't wish to spend extra money on advertising on your jewelry, why don't you start with your friends and family? If they love it, they'll spread the word to their friends who will spread to their friends and in a moment, you'll have an ever-expanding clientele! Or maybe you can select a few pieces and ask your local accessories shop to help you sell them. If they sell well like hot-cakes, the store would be begging you for more! Remember to offer them a small percentage of the profit!

I'd say that websites are handy. Also, see if you can get a good store like Myer (okay start small but you know what i mean) to sell your products. Also hire one of those kisiosks in shopping centers and sell them for a while there, and make sure you put a sign up in the kisiosks where your store will be! :-) Good Luck! :-)

Pay a little bit of money to get a good classy web site done. You will not believe the power of the net and customers that will follow. Search for free sites to post your web site on...I have done this with my dog breeding biz, and the results are amazing!
