You don't have to poke yourself in the eye, just say you have back problems, there's no way to prove it so they just have to take your word for it.

Medicinal marijuana could be something plausible, but I think that it should Be legalized then folks could decide on the different purposes and functions it could serve.

tell them you have migraines... cant prove that you dont. It is written in the californa law that it can be perscibed for migraines.
