Does the yahoo answer really solve the problem?

If it comes to techinical stuff I think Google's answers.com beats everything...if you don't find it there try www.madsci.org. Yahoo is just trying to play "Catch Google" in everything and I don't think its going to work..

Well most of the answers are slightly retarded here, but you do get the people that want to show you their Internet searching techniques to give you the answers. So for me if I get an answer that seems logical and reasonable I check it again with the key-words provided by the other person and viola!!!

Not all people feel convenient in Internet. Not everyone knows that there exist lots of newsgroups and special sites, dedicated to special problems.

I guess that this place is good enough to start with: me, e.g., give to those asking questions some useful links where they can find required information.

I think there are many intelligent people at yahoo answers, but you have to pick through the responses to your questions and try to pick the one that suits your needs.

i think if your patient you can get a technical answer on this site, but only try if you cant find it through a google search.
