What does Leviticus 18:22 Mean?!?

Oh ever so true! And one should go right to the next chapter (19), which contains the even more important message:

" ..nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material."

Do you realize how many people will burn in hell for all eternity because of wash-and-wear fabrics? I ask you brother, have you checked your own labels?

You've quoted 18:23 - although I don't recognize the translation. The KJV is a little clearer, but yes it's about bestiality: "Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: netiher shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion".

18:22 is the prohibition on homosexuality (again, KJV): "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is an abomination".

Basically all of Leviticus 18 is about sex. The rest of Leviticus is basically other rules - I think that too many people at company meetings follow the latter part of 19:26 "nor observe times"... meetings are endless! (And to the smartasses out there, yes, I know that's not what it means)

A case of human artificial insemination was recorded as long ago as 1799. But in recent years this has come to be more widely practiced. According to The New York Times, a woman who is artificially inseminated and bears a child for another woman, as a substitute for her, is called a surrogate mother. The infertile wife and her husband agree to this arrangement, and when the surrogate mother gives birth the baby is adopted by the couple. The sperm in this case could be from the husband of the couple or from another donor.

Although such an arrangement may be approved by many in the world, the Christian rightfully asks whether it is in harmony with God’s laws. The Bible, at Leviticus 18:20, is clear on this point when it says: “You must not give your emission as semen to the wife of your associate to become unclean by it.” Artificial insemination of a woman by a donor other than her legal husband, makes her guilty of adultery, a sin against God. (Deuteronomy 5:18) The sperm donor and the surrogate woman have not been yoked together by God in matrimony.—Matthew 19:4-6.

Inasmuch as artificial insemination by an anonymous donor is not acceptable to God, the consenting husband in effect gave his wife to another man, and the wife gave herself to that person in order to become the mother of a child by a man with whom she had not been yoked together by God in matrimony. (Matt. 19:4-6) The absence of direct physical contact and the fact that the consenting husband adopts the child cannot set aside the adulterous conduct.—1 Cor. 5:1-13.

Lev. 18:22 says that you shouldn't practice homosexuality. Verse 23 speaks about not committing the sin of sleeping with animals.

18:22 is speaking out against homosexuality.

18:23 is speaking out against bestiality.

It is about sex with animals, you are correct. God had to spell things out, because it is in man's heart to do these things. This is why He gave the land to Israel, the current inhabitants were doing these things. As far as the next chapter is concerned, the Laws of "mixing" were there to teach deeper things. Don't mix Judaism & Christianity, Law & Grace & human & animal. It is "Confusion."
