doubtful, but it would depend on the area and when those offences happened

you extremely won't have the means to grow to be a police officer. no longer in ordinary terms that, yet you will no longer have the means to get any form of activity that demands a history examine. Employers do no longer % somebody with a criminal checklist, via fact they understand that they might't have faith an ex-con. in fact, even a misdemeanor attack is sufficient to maintain you from getting a activity at fairly some businesses. perhaps you're able to initiate your very own business enterprise. Or, perhaps you're able to purchase a farm someplace, stay off the land, and not have any touch with the exterior worldwide.

Depends entirely on the positions. Standing drugs on their side in a stiff wind would be impressive, but just leaving a joint lying around? That's the sign of a lazy mind, my friend, and I don't want no lazy probation officer.

Yes, about the only thing you cannot have is peace officer status. Call you local Probation Office and ask them, as laws differ in different states.
In Ca.you can and you must have training, college , you must have at least an Associates Degree,..............if its in the past, things are forgiven

Drug "position"? What position was it? Aside from that, to get any sort of a job like that I think you'd need to know basic English.
So you are probably out on two counts: (1) too dumb and (2) too stupid.

Usually if it wasnt within the last 5 years they wont care, just as long as its not a felony or domestic abuse, everything else they overlook.

contact your local department of corrections (for the state in which you intend to seek employment) and ask them. Sometimes, if the charges are really old and you haven't had any legal problems in several years, they can be forgiven.

Yes! you can, the legal system does not care about misdemeanors, but they should.

Hmm you could be eligible for REHAB!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA
But seriously, I think as long as you don't have felony convictions or domestic violence charges you are ok.
