Is there anything we can do to alleviate current gas increases?

    Conservation on a massive scale. It worked in the 80's. We saw some Arab countries nearly go belly up as a result.

    Taught them a lesson. Now, we are right back where they want us.

    If there was not a demand for gas, the price would drop. Take public transportation or walk.

    People ride around too much for nothing, drive the biggest truck they can find, and drive as fast as they can go. If these things were eliminated, there would be less demand for gasoline and maybe the price would go down

    yes get every body to walk or ride a bike for about a week and the price would fall

    I'm all for conservation too. Stay home or ride a bike. Carpool. Walk...whatever we have to do to get back control.

    i heard from a news network that if we didn't by gas for one day it would drop prices significantly

    gas prices are not going to drop that much if we just quit using it.... try shooting the president and all his staff
