Everything you eat changes the chemistry or your bodily waste. Sometimes it is too subtle for you to notice, something like Sugar Puffs is very noticeable. Fist because you are passing a great deal of glucose in your urine, second because of the corn meal which will not only scent your urine but color it as well.

Try it with wine, beer and spicy foods. Same process.

The problem isn't that they make your pee smell like sugar puffs. Sugar puffs just smell like pee in general... mmmmm, delicious!

I don't know but I was wondering the same thing. Even generic forms of sugar puffs make your urine smell like them. Weird!

You might be smelling some vitamin supplement in the puffs. I presume it does not actually smell sweet, which does indicate diabetes. Taking a lot of vitamin "A" will give it a smell as will the amino acid "asparagine" (guess what veggie has a lot of THAT in it!). The answer depends on exactly in what way it smells like sugar puffs. . .

Eat some sugar puffs

Go pee

After peeing, bend down

Place face in toilet bowl

Inhale smell of pee

Analyze pee smell in comparison to sugar puffs

Is that what you did? Foods make your pee smell different. Broccoli and asparagus make your pee smell funny and makes them extra yellow. Water makes your pee color lighter and not have much smell. Your sugar goes into your bloodstream and out through your butt. Inside the urine. Therefore, pee smells like sugar puffs if you have eaten sugar puffs. And I don't feel like I have the need to try and prove myself. I'm fine thanks, without having the need to smell my pee.

Coffee makes urine smell like coffee too.

Maybe I'll try a bool of sugar puffs with my coffee.

It's the excessive amount of B vitamins they contain especially folate (also present in abundance in brocoli). Coffe would have the same effect as it is a diruetic and cause fluid and therefore water soluble vitamin loss.
