Love never fails. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. If you have anything else to add or ask, please send me an email through Yahoo Answers. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

  • What does it mean when you're asked, as a journalist, if you're "paid by the word"?

I'm an intern journalist on the side, just freelancing for the experience. I'm still relatively new, just two months into starting this. A comment was just posted on a food recommendation I put up. The user wrote:

"Do you get paid by the word?"

And then followed up with comments about how he/she felt that even though it was the only half decent pot pie around, it was too salty for his/her liking and such.

What does that mean - being paid by the word?

Why is the green light on the right of the camera on my Mac green? What does it mean?

  • Is it ok to eat brownies when you're sick?

I know that supposedly, chips and oranges are bad to eat when you're sick. Should I not be eating brownies when I'm down with a cold and a cough?

I really want the pick me up though, Betty Crocker style.

  • Why might my dog's left arm/paw be shaking?

Is this something I need to go have checked out by a vet?

I've noticed that for the last half hour, when she sits, she lifts her left paw up and it trembles midair. What could this be because? And is it serious?

She's 11 years old, a golden retriever. No significant health issues. Takes two half-hour walks a day. Drinks and eats enough. Takes vitamins for the bones.

  • Is there any way to avoid the boobs getting smaller on a diet?

I'm currently dieting right now and I've lost 4kg so far.

I want to lose more weight to get a flat stomach but I've noticed that I'm not filling out my bras like I used to. Is there any way to avoid this or do I just have to suck it up?

(Could I possibly exercise the pecs underneath to give the illusion of having boobs?)

  • Are some of my photos missing because I removed them from the Picasa application?

How do I get them back?

I deleted some photos/videos off of Picasa and now they're missing in my documents. I have restored everything in the Recycling Bin but I am still missing some photos and videos. What do I do?

  • Does anybody else think its too soon for Kat Von D to be speaking up about her and Jesse James?

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20413219,0...

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20413850,0...

    http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20414085,0...

    Seriously?

Two months after a divorce from a five year relationship. Isn't that moving on a little too fast?

But even putting that aside, shouldn't Kat Von D respect the fact that this breakup was very recent? And maybe its not the best idea to start Tweeting and going on radio shows talking about her budding romance with Jesse James. Not that Sandra Bullock looks like she's having a really tough time moving on, but seriously - someone's missing a sensitivity chip, right?

  • Do I end the booty call if I think I might be interested in some other guy?

Lets just say I've made a friend for benefits, pretty much. Very, very recently.

But I've gotten to know another guy. Literally just started to get to know him. I think I might potentially like him though, but I'm not entirely convinced.

The booty call is still new. The friendship with the new guy is still new.

What am I supposed to do?

  • What would you do if your ex-boyfriend called your best friend a b*tch?

    Background:

Did she deserve it? No. He swore her out because two months ago, she stood up for me and had a talk with him about how big a jerk he was.

What'd he do back then? We broke up in a friendly way. The next day, my dad died after a 8 year battle with cancer. He stays in touch - a little too close for comfort. Less than a week later, he kisses me and invites me to dinner with his parents. Then at night partying with his friends, he grinded with another girl.

What does your best friend mean to you? Absolutely everything. She's kept me open, sane and most importantly, alive. I've known her for almost 13 years. She's a sister to me.

What would you do if you were me?

  • What do you think about celebrities using Twitter (since now even Angelina Jolie has joined in)?

With news of Angelina Jolie's addition to the Twitter Celebrities gang, I wanted to raise up this question. Here's where I heard it:

    http://www.chipchick.com/2010/07/angelina-jolie-tw...

Are you a desperate follower of Jessica Simpson's Twitpics? Do you love Ashton and Demi's Twitter love-banter? Can't get enough and just want more John Mayer, more Kim Kardashian, more Lindsay Lohan, more more more?

Or are you just one of those people who think celebrities using Twitter immediately become hypocrites? So much for all the talk about wanting privacy.

Which side of the argument are you on and do you have anything special to say about Angelina Jolie adding to Twitter?

  • How did you find your college and did you love yours (like most of the people I know love theirs)?

Recent talks with recent graduates made me realize that everybody I know seems to pretty much love the colleges they went to. It's great, it really is. I was actually surprised because I know a few of those didn't get into their dream schools. Some even went to their safeties. Even so, they all love their college.

I'm trying to help my nephew find some great colleges to apply to. So...some of these questions might be the answers to his many many questions.

Did you love your college? And how did you find the colleges you applied to?

  • What would your runway song be?

What song would you put on if you feel that you should be strutting down that street right now?

Or for those who really wouldn't ever do that:

What do you think models should walk to on that stage?

  • Can drinking Campbell soup for a meal help me lose weight?

I'm trying not to eat more than what gets me full. I used to do it all the time and that's not healthy or helpful.

These days, I'm drinking the full can of Campbell soup. It's enough to get me full without making me feel more full than I should be. It's like 200 calories in that can. Is that ok?

  • What is this .THM file that shows up when I take videos on my camera?

Whenever I take a video on my camera (Sony Digital Still Camera DSC-W30), it creates an mpeg file and a .THM file.

I can't open the .THM file with any program on my computer. It doesn't take up much space but I've been deleting them all along. What is this file for and why does it always show up?

  • Are you interested in Jennifer Aniston's new perfume Lolavie (launching tomorrow)?

The exclusive launch is in Harrods with a meet and greet from 1-2pm for those Londoners on a first-come-first-greet basis. Her topless ads for the perfume are certainly alluring. This doesn't seem like another Jennifer Lopez or Britney Spears or Paris Hilton perfume. Reading her Architectural Digest piece, she seems to take artistic collaborations pretty seriously. This may be the one start I believe has truly been involved in the process from beginning to end.

Are you interested? For just a whiff or the whole Lolavie experience?

  • How can I let this guy down easy without cutting him out of my life because that was his "biggest heartbreak"?

I just want to know this in case I really start feeling compelled to say byebye.

The most this would ever be is a summer fling but he's taking it too seriously, like its going to be a real relationship. We're four years apart and I'm leaving in three weeks. He's going to go back to his life on the entire other side of the planet.

But his biggest heartbreak was when his first girlfriend cut him out of his life and lost all contact. It's a tempting way to cut loose but if I do want to let him know that I don't think I want anything more, I don't want to cut him out because that might bring up pain from the past.

How have you done it before?

  • How was life like for Russians in the 1890's (characters in Chekhov's The Seagull)?

I'm doing research on Chekhov's play The Seagull.

I'm having trouble finding the lifestyle of the people in that play during that time. Links to more information would be much appreciated.

  • Have you ever had a problem convincing other people to watch a really great show you love?

Cougar Town is a small and should be very successful show.

    It's absolutely hilarious.

I keep trying to convince people to watch it so they can love it just as much as I do. But they're slow to get to a new show that isn't as popular as Modern Family or Desperate Housewives. The people that HAVE watched it though - think its fantastic.

Have you had this problem? (And have you ever watched Cougar Town before?

  • Do you personally have more of a problem accepting cougars over sugar daddies?

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/bs-gl-re...

Google recently banned a dating website encouraging relationships between older women and younger men but left dating websites for older men and younger women alone.

Yes, that's prejudiced against gender and age but isn't this prejudice natural?

Do you personally feel more of an aversion towards cougar-cub relationships? Or do you find Google's decision to be completely unjust and uncalled for? Do you disprove of both types of relationships?

  • Is it harmless to see your boyfriend with his arm around his best female friend?

I know they're very close. They're each others' best friends.

But I've heard rumors about the girl still having feelings for him. I've noticed her combing through her hair with her fingers around him which I'm not sure constitutes as playing with her hair. Her and his mutual friends want them to end up together. He's previously had a crush on her but he insists that it was nothing.

Should I be worried? I don't want to make like I am trapping him but at the same time, I don't want to be taking advantage of.
