What would you do if your ex-boyfriend called your best friend a b*tch?
Background:
Did she deserve it? No. He swore her out because two months ago, she stood up for me and had a talk with him about how big a jerk he was.
What'd he do back then? We broke up in a friendly way. The next day, my dad died after a 8 year battle with cancer. He stays in touch - a little too close for comfort. Less than a week later, he kisses me and invites me to dinner with his parents. Then at night partying with his friends, he grinded with another girl.
What does your best friend mean to you? Absolutely everything. She's kept me open, sane and most importantly, alive. I've known her for almost 13 years. She's a sister to me.
What would you do if you were me?
I'm asking what I should do because one thing running through my mind of what I can do is to put a dent in his face

I would suggest that your best course of action is simply to be the bigger person. If he's being a jerk, it's his problem until you make it yours. Just cut him out of your life, and devote your time and energies to your best friend instead. You'll all be much happier, with the possible exception of your ex, who will wonder why everyone is ignoring him.

You can not seriously need an answer to this? You do not even indicate if he wants to get back with you, only that he took you out to watch him trying it on with another girl. Give up on him and be grateful you have a good best friend.

Avoid him like the plague. He sounds like he will just string you along, use you when it suits him to and cause you lots of drama. Your friend sounds like someone who will support you through whatever you are going through. Stay away from this guy and let your friend help you out.
