Is there a free online site where I could learn arabic - not just basics like numbers and colours?
Conversations, medical terms, even online text translation or online english to arabic dictionaries? Thanks.
I would like a site with would help with any of the above mentioned. Reading an arabic newspaper is abit advanced for me currently especially since I have to really build up my vocabulary.
Is there anyone who can speak arabic willing to help me learn? If yes, then u can contact me by clicking on my avatar/profile. Thanks.

a great translation service is www.almisbar.com/demo.html (i learned arabic for the army and that is helpful). If you can find the Rosetta Stone program that's a great introduction. The best english to arabic dictionary is the oxford one and you can get it for like 35 bucks on amazon.com I dont know where you can get medical terms and stuff though because all my stuff is specially made by the army and classified!

Another good site for translating is Tarjim.com. It won't necessarily be a good source for learning Arabic, but it is a good one for translating. You could use it to build your vocabulary.
Also, CNN Arabic and BBC Arabic have great newspaper articles which is a good place to practice your Modern Standard Arabic once you are comfortable with using it. I placed links at the 'sources' part.
