Is there anywhere in the SF Bay Area in which you can see both the Bay and the Ocean from the same place?

Excluding the Golden Gate bridge.

The Golden Gate Bridge, if you look west you see the bay open up into the Pacific and if you look west you see San Francisco Bay.

Across the GG Bridge just on the Marin County side is an exit that will take you up to the Marin headlands area. It's a narrow road and a bit steep at points but at the top is some old army gun installations long abandoned. From that point you can see all the way down the SF coastline to Pacifica. Easy view of the Farralon islands. And to your immediate left hand side the Golden Gate Bridge and beyond....the bay - all the way to Oakland/Alameda area.

The elevation there is higher than the bridge and accords a beautiful view of not only the bay but the San Fran skyline as well.

    Best place I know of.

    Golden Gate Bridge (SF)

Parts of skyline blvd down on the penninsula (near palo alto hills). on a clear day it's some of the best views in the bay area.
