At this point once the patent application is registered you can get financial backing by offering a small stake to potential licencees (ensure that you sign a confidentiality agreement first).

Rule 5 Decide on which countries to persue your patent in, as registering a patent in lots of countries costs a great deal of money to do. (Lawyer will advise)

In my place, discoveries, scientific theories and mathematical methods is not patentable.India is a commonwealth country too, I think your country is the same.

You may not realize it but people with big ideas are a dime a dozen. If your "inventation", ha, is any good, prove it, market it yourself.

Check ANSI first if you can't find your idea. Ask them which way you should follow
