How do you get birds AWAY from you car? The birds sit on my car and peck at their reflec and scratch the car.?
I have two cars outdoors and I keep them very clean. The birds just "hang out" and walk and use the bathroom on the car. I cannot figure out a way to scare them off. They have scratched up my cars with their claws. PLEASE HELP!

Have you thought about painting or chrome plating "A-L-L-E-N-T-O-W-N" on the hood? That should scare them away.

Buying a car cover is a good idea but cost a lot of money. Another way is to buy a bird repellant product at a washing station. Be sure to get a good one though Some stink

The scratching is bad but I hated that they pooped all down the side of my car while fighting themselves in the mirror. I hung a plastic bag over the mirror and it worked like a charm.

put a toy snake on the dash of the cars... My aunt had a problem with birds commiting suicide by flying a big glass window in her living room. She put a couple of toy snoke out on the ledge and hasn't had a problem since...Good luck.

I park in the garage. HA HA! Ok that was mean. Anyway, I don't know about birds, but my dad used a pellet gun to keep chipmunks away. HMMM, maybe that is mean too.
