I want to know how much did your graduation gowns + caps cost?
I'll be graduating soon and I want to know how much it costs coz me and my classmates feel our college is ripping us off! Is it free anywhere? Please be specific with your location and degree. Thanks.
Me and my classmates were planning on boycotting our graduation but most of our parents are keen to see us graduate. It's a once in a lifetime thing. Our gowns are really ugly! Black with golden on top of it orange and blue. Yucky! I'd rather have maroon or purple.
to mom over board - I wanted to know about the grad gowns not the annual fee. I think u misunderstood.

It all depends upon skools.some skools provide free for their students and some charges minimal.When i graduated in Dec 2003 my graduate skool charged me $30 for the gown,Cap,Tie(I dunno what its called) and Graduation pics taken by Pros and wood Frame for degree.it was pretty nice.i don't think nobdy charges more than $40 -$50 in US rest of the world i have no idea.

Florida International University (Miami, FL). BA.
I believe the cap & gown was 45. But after honors cords, stoles and medallions more like $110 all together.

I know it doesn't cost anything if you don't walk. I saved myself the agony of sitting through what could have been the most boring four hours of my life.
