The main reward is the chance to do more questioning and answering and voting and rating. Once you get to level 6, there is no more daily limit except 100 per day on rates and votes.

As to what you get, it is primarily the adventure of sharing our knowledge, ideas, opinions with the rest of the world, and learning something new all the time. It is the fun of seeing how other people respond to questions, either before or after writing your own answer. It is the thrill of having your answer chosen as best, especially when you put thought and heart into the answer. It is knowing you may have helped someone solve a problem, understand a concept, or get over a hurt. It is the sheer joy of the use of language to communicate with other humans. It is reaching out to the whole world to say, "let's be friends."

The point system tells folks how involved you are, but you can find out by reading the site. Hopefully the real thing, like me you get out of answering questions is helping people that you know the real answers to, I willl answer questions that I have been through and give only the best advice I can, I would never respond to something I have no knowledge to. Neither should anyone else, but they do, and that could prevent someone else that knows the answer from giving it. God Bless You...

Why do you care about points and levels? You share your knowledge and help others with their fundamental questions about life. Your effort can improve their lives. And in return, above all, you get respect. What a wonderful concept!

    lol

Try the explanation via link on "My Q&A", for a start.

Check out the point system link. It explains everything. But personally, you get to express your opinion while at the same time helping and making other people feel better about their situations. I have found it very rewarding so far. No experts, just human beings!

Apparently nothing. Just bragging rights. But you may get some friends if one of them asks you a question directly by email when they recognize that you are "authoritative" on a certain topic.
