How can i get rid of a backdoor trojan?
I have a backdoor trojan named winzz32.dll. I have scanned my computer with both Norton and Webroot Spysweeper. They keep picking up a bunch of spyware and other trojans, but the backdoor trojan can't be deleted by Norton. I tried doing a scan in safe mode and it still was unable to delete it. I keep getting a bunch of popups from websites and there is an icon on my toolbar that keeps directing me to go to a wesite to download another spyware program. I need help to delete this.

You might have to delete the system restore points and as well delete the particular registry entries manually if the virus still regenerates.
Better still, if you are still having trouble, use Hijack This and copy the log it generates and post it on some tech help forum (Castle Cops have dealt with it earlier). I am sure there will be plenty of people ready to help you out.

We recommend PC Integrity Scanner because it is the safest and mosts thorough spyware cleaner available. It eliminates Pop-ups, Toolbars, BHOs, Keyloggers and other dangerous pests that slow down your computer to a crawl. It has a built-in database whihc indetifies most files running in your computer. Download the PC Integrity scanner to find out if your computer is infected.
Remove existing spyware and keep your computer and your privacy safe.
