Because chicken was the first poultry ever in mankind...
And everything would taste like Spam, because Spam sandwiches are unbelievable.

Great question!!!! I have had alligator and frog legs, they DO NOT TASTE LIKE CHICKEN.....I have no idea why people say that. I think it was originally started to get kids to eat things they didn't want to.
If there were no chickens, I'm not sure what they would say! And who the heck are THEY?

They say alligator and frog legs taste like chicken. I personally haven't tried them but I guess everything else would take like alligators and frogs.
