Is my ex-lover grateful for the love I gave and showed him or her....?

I'm the kinda person that when I'm in love with whom ever I put 100% into the relationship. I love my partner to the best of my ability. I make very sure that my partner know's without a doubt that I love him or her. So my question is do my partner him or her be greatful or even just apprecaite the love that I have given and showed them when it's all over. Do anyone ever apprecaite someone esle loving besides a family memeber.

YES THEY'RE VERY GRATEFUL FROM SELF EXPERIENCE I HAD SOMEONE WHO LOVED ME A 100% AND I FELT THE LOVE THEY GAVE ME I WILL ALWAYS APPRECIATE THEM FOR THAT. THEY ALSO TAUGHT ME HOW TO LOVE BACK I'LL ALWAYS CARRY THEM IN MY HEART FOR THAT IF I COULD TURN THE HANDS OF TIME BACK I'LL LOVE TO RELIVE THAT MOMENT

Yes of curse, sometimes the legacy of a former romance is the best thing that ever happened to a person and they're always grateful for it.

Most of the time though you give it your all, you'll be left feeling unappreciated. It's all up to the other person. If they really love you, simply holding there hand in public shows alot. I gave my all. She took it for granted. It wasn't until we broke up and she found herself alone that she realized that how I did for her. It was only after she met another guy who did nothing for her that she acknowledged how good I was for her.

There have been times in my past when guys fell in love with me, and did all they could for me, but I simply could not continue because I wasn't in love with them and felt no chemistry with them. I guess your question was mostly geared towards how guys feel? but I fondly remember those moments or incidences when a guy did something totally thoughtful and touching and loving, and it brings me to tears thinking about it. It was love I could not return.
