Honestly, I refuse to put Peyton Manning in the as #1 until he wins something. For years now I keep hearing about his greatness, and he is a great player, but great players need to win something to prove it.
1.) Tom Brady (almost always finds a way to win on the highest level)
2.) Ben Roethlisberger (has done nothing but win since he got in the League)
3.) Peyton Manning (despite his great numbers he has done nothing to give Indy a championship)
4.) Carson Palmer ( great QB who has only gotten better since his debut in the league)
5.) Michale Vick (dont give me crappy passing stats either...who cares when he is in the lineup the Falcons win...he is the real MVP of the nFL every year because without him the Falcons are a 2-5 win team. with him they are an 8-12 win team. nobody else makes that much of a difference.)

Top 5 Quarterbacks in the NFL, that is a tuff one, but first off is Peyton Manning. Right now there is no better general on the field than him. He is a head coach playing Quarterback, it is amazing watching him work. Matt Haselbeck would have to be next. He is one of the smartest guys in the game today with the football. Third would be Carson Palmer. This past season we only got a tip of the iceburg of what he can do on the field, he will finish in the top 3 in MVP next season(which I truly don't like, I'm a Brown's fan). Fourth would be Tom Brady. Brady is the Joe Montana of our generation. He won't put up Peyton(Marino for Montana) type numbers every Sunday, but he won't lose the game, and if the game is on the line, he is one the best clutch QB's today. Finally I would have to go with Big Ben. I know what you are thinking-- he should be first, he beat everyone on this list above him. That is true, but out of all five of these teams, he has the best Defense and the best O-Line in the game. Also if he got into a shoot-out with any of these other four QB's, I think they have a little bit of an edge on him still.

My top 5 in order:
1. Peyton
2. Brady
3. Favre
4. Ben
5. Vick
Eli will be a top QB but still has a lot to learn. Palmer I don't agree with. He has good receivers and that's what has made him.

3. Hasselback
