Why Blame Immigrants, Instead blame cheap American Employers.?
Yes they are here illegally and I am against that, But American Employers are ilegally hiring them at substandard wages but where is the outrage?
If our Government would impose heavy fines on illegal employers it would generate much needed income, making it less economical for them to hire illegals instead of Americans and the Illegals would have less incentive to to cross the border.
Of course the employers would stop contributing to any politicians who backed this but what the heck!
Maybe those hard working law abiding migrants who have contributed to our economy should be rewarded by offering them work visas then citizenship according to how many years they have worked here on some sliding scale,
I thank them because I don't have to pay $10.00 for a head of lettuce.

If Congress were to pass a law that said, quite simply, that the CEO(ANY EMPLOYER) of any business that was caught employing ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS went to jail for a year -
NO EXCEPTIONS -
Then within a month there would be ten million (more or less) people lined up at the Mexican border trying to get out of the United States And Back To Whatever Country They Came From.
If They Cant Work They Wont Stay
No Deportation Costs
They Wont Come Back
We Wouldnt Even NEED A Wall
If You Feed A Stray Cat, It Keeps Comin Around

I am all for the cheaper labor and the cheaper products that I enjoy because of the Mexicans (illegal or not). However, what cost does this have to the American taxpayer? America can't afford to flip the bill for social service seeking leaches. For me it comes down to the bottom line. But regardless, I definetly want a more secure border and a better way of deciding who gets in and who stays out. I mean the days of the Oklahoma land races are over. Quit running into our country, waving your flag, and snatching up resources you illegals(have the illegals declared war on us? isn't this an invasion?). Oh by the way.... I am a third generation Mexican immigrant (legal).

I have a better idea. make it LEGAL to hire an illegal immigrant so long as the employer does not pay the illegal immigrant more than 75c an hour. That's $30 for a 40-hour week. To make them feel right at home, pay them in Pesos, not dollars. Should be just like Mexico then.
That should dampen the stampede to get in here.

Any bill being considered by YOUR representatives should state clearly that when they PICK UP an ILLEGAL...they pick up THE EMPLOYER as well.
And to put a cherry on the sundae....the bill should require the illegal to OUT his employer and if he doesn't....well.....OH CRAP....I didn't have an answer for that.
Their is nothing to threaten them with.....they risked their lives for their families already. OOPS.
