With a history of being cursed, Why to the Chicago cubs continue to be horrible? Will they ever win again?

Goats, Bartmann, Lou Brock, losing seasons, Curses, World Series absences, and a century of being pathetic.

There is no such thing as a curse on a team. The cubs were copying off the redsox's 'curse' as to why they have sucked the past 60 years. The curse of the bambino was invented in the 1980's by an author, which lead several crazy yankee fans to dance around in bedsheets with the number 3 on them during the 2004 ALCS.

Long story short, the curses are just something to make the

fans feel better about their teams sucking. The cubs could turn it around at any time. Not this year, but if they pick up some good young players, maybe in a few years.

I am sick and tired of hearing all this crap of how the Cubs have, "Been Cursed" Both the Red Sox, and, as much as it turns my stomach to say this, the cross town White Sox have shown in the past two years that this curse talk is a bunch of, as Sherman Potter on M*A*S*H would say, a load of, "Horse Hockey".

The problem with the Cubs right now is that they are down on themselves, and Baker has lost his grip on the team. Plus, lets face it, the Cardinals have put a better team on the field this year, and the record so far for both teams reflects it. But, I think the Cubs have the talent to contend, if they would get off the pity party pot, show some teeth, and their pitchers get out of the habit of pitching from behind in the count. This curse bullshit is just too easy an excuse and copout, and I refuse to buy it!!

you are the pathetic fool here. the cubs play very good baseball in the last few years. They have done a hell of a lot better then half the teams out there. They may have the longest drought without a world series win. they will win soon

Yes, I believe if the Red Sox finally broke the Bambino's Curse, the Cubbies have a chance now too. Hopefully it won't take as long. Maybe it'll happen in 2015 - like in the movie, Back to the Future II.

I live in Chicago and I love the Chicago White Sox. The Cubs just suck and will never win again, but everything you hear about in Chicago is all about the Cubs. And they're not cursed, they just suck!

They'll win one before you die.
