Why are cubs fans so jealous of the Cardinals?

One of the main reasons could be that the Cubs haven't been in the World Series since 1945, and they haven't won a Championship since 1908. Plus the fact that the Cubs have only won 2 World Series compared to the Cardinals 9. It's been almost 100 years since the Cubs have even seen a Championship (well 98 years to be exact), while the Cardinals last one was in 1982. Not to mention the Cards were just in the Series in 2004 and have a lot greater chance of returning than the Cubs. Does anybody else think this whole "curse" is real, or just some lame *** excuse to be a piss poor team? I'm thinking it's more the second one than the first. Every year at least 1, 2, or even 3 of their star players gets hurt, come on they just get scared and don't want to look like fools so they get hurt on purpose to save face. Our new stadium could be another reason. They need a new stadium, but who's going to support a losing team and reward them for being a bunch of losers? Especially now with the White Sox just winning a Championship, the Cubs are going to be in that dump they call Wrigley Field forever.I think they're also jealous of the fact that the Cardinals have the best fans in the WORLD! Maybe they should go and find a witch doctor to help take away their so called "curse". Probably still woulcn't help, especially when they have to deal with a Championship caliber team such as the Cards. I have a great idea: Why don't we set up a petition for the Cubs organization to get sent down to the minor leagues!

The two teams have been around a long time and it only about a 6 hour drive between the two cities. The Cards have won more world series than any other team in the National league. The Cubs haven't done anything in over a century.

I'm not jealous of the Cardinals...I am a Cubs fan even though I live much closer to St. Louis than Chicago...and you do know that Budweiser is owned by a larger company right?

NL Central sucks. But the Cubs suck the hardest. I mean I hate the whole division, every one of em, but the only fans worse than Cubs fans are Yankees, Red Sox, and Phillies fans. Cubs suck.

Your team sucks, your coach sucks, and your "followers" suck. i think sorry for those born into being Cubs followers, yet have no sympathy for the morons who actively prefer to be one. enjoying cards will win 2 of three, a minimum of certainly one of them would be a demoralizing defeat of the bullpen. And as far as your sweep is going, i desire remembering it keeps you heat and fuzzy in October while the enjoying cards are nevertheless enjoying baseball.
