HELL NO! Those are "fishing"/"spam" emails.. You open them and the incoded HTML/code sends a msg back to that person telling them your email address is valid then it gets thrown into their "spam" bank.. Then you get lots of SPAM! DONT ever open ANYTHING unless you know who the sender is! Best choice is to block HTML on your email preferences!

It is mass mailing. You might receive an email to a large group of people, of which you might be one of the CC or BCC recipients. The email addresses are generated using a program which goes through all the combinations. You are on the list, just not visible with the standard header views. These emails are typically advertisements, scams, or trojans.

First You may be in the senders BCC area, Or else in some cases in gmail email account people can use there name without the "." even if the email address have "." in it.
Eg : gmail id = aron.dell@gmail.com
but aron.dell can get mail sent to some " arondell@gmail.com"
so in this case "." the period is not an validator or criterion but its just a way to write which google mail likes!

It is due to the fact that they zero on our url address' code and cahnge one tiny letter or number and can send to a lot of ppl.I suggest making a new wmail account that is totally original or using a very good spam blocker!

I have also had this problem. I think they just make up addresses, and it gets sent to the closest thing. I don't know. Just block the address or spam it.
