I need help. I just put a plastic dish in my self cleaning oven.?
I really blew it. I thought a plastic tray that is used in the microwave was also okay for the oven. It melted and is dripping right now. What do I do it is not my oven.

First calm down. Turn off the oven. I would put some cold water on it to get the plastic to cool and get hard. Once it is hard you should be able to pull it free. You might also have to wait untill the oven cools. Lots of luck.

HAHAHAH clean the oven..there should be oven cleaner somewhere and if not, they might have some 401 , u can use that on almost evrything ...check the bottle and spray it on a towel or cloth and wipe down the inside of the oven...when it cools down of course

If you've ever allowed oven cleaner to get on the chrome racks they are stained permanently. There is no easy way to clean them. Get a Brillo pad and clean each one by hand. If the Brillo doesn't shine it up then you'll have to live with the stains. Who cares anyway? Who would look in your oven to see if your racks were shiny? Don't stress over it.

when the oven cools you should be able to break it off
