it is too see if I fall within socially acceptable bounds of being "normal". The anonymity of not being known gives us a certain freedom of pontificating on questions and answers in a way we might not do in a face to face situation, so I think the majority of people on Yahoo use it as a yardstick. Also we learn to see other points of view, maybe even something we did not know, and can share what we have learned in ways that can benefit others.

If I am bored, browsing all the questions in different categories, and seeing the answers alleviate my boredom, because I tend not to focus on myself.

By 'here' do you mean on the earth? If so, I think it is to discover who we are and be it.

If you mean on this website: I have infinite curiousity and respect it in other people. If a question is asked that I know the answer to, I like to share my knowing it. I feel very blessed by having lots of people who are always happy to answer questions or discuss things. Some people never seem to know anyone like this.

I don't really know why I like this site so much, but I'm addicted. I guess it's partly boredom. I think I just like trying to help people, and sometimes I have the answers they are looking for. Sometimes I just feel like I have something important to say on an issue, and I like to get my 2 cents in.

nothing better to do. although, i need to shower and i just got up... i get on here at like 3 am too because i don't have much to do then either
