Girls, PMS?
Is it possible to have extreme PMS? It seems during that time I become incredibly depressed (cry all the time, can't get out of bed, HATE my fiance and want to leave him). This lasts for 10 days sometimes, the rest of the month I am fine and happy. Am I weird? Do I need meds?
P.S. I'm on birth control with the lowest dose of hormones possible.

That seems okay with me.. Normal infact. I dont see any reason to be concerned unless your fiance is like unhappy with you and cant deal with it, then just cry your heart out when you hav PMS. We all get that way, and it lasting for 10 days isnt abnormal at all. Sorry you hate it, but just do like we do, and let others suffer too.

Yes it is, and I have it too. Unlike all the rest of the women who answered, I went to the DR and started taking Prozac, which I will tell you changed my life! I used to scare myself before--during a bad PMS time, it seemed reasonable to want to kill all of my family. I knew it was wrong, but that's how I felt. Now, on the Prozac, I don't ever feel like that anymore! Don't just suffer, help is out there! Good luck!

To me this is pretty normal! add to that breast tenderness some 10 days before the menses, & hot flushes, back pain, & HORRIBLE cramps at the day of menses! You're normal girl, just make sure that your fiance knows that what you're going thru is because of the PMS not teh actual you talking!! ;-)

try having someone masage the back of your calves in an upward fashion (form the ankle to the back of the knee - using two hands - thumbs remaining inthe middle of the calve muscle.)
this will 'exercise'some of the accupressure points.
you might also have a hormone imbalance - worht getting checked out.

Yes it is possible. Please go and see your doctor who will be able to change your method of birth control. It is important to do this soon as it is not fair on you or your fiance.

LOL no that seems perfectly normal. I have the worst PMS myself, and it just affects different people in different ways :)
