Oh great... I have dark circles around my eyes now. I think it's from lack of sleep. What do I do?

I've been sleeping pretty late, lately. About 3-4 am. Sometimes 5. And now when I take pictures, I notice that I have this dark circles around my eyes.

How do I get rid of them?

Dip cotton pads in a mixture of cucumber and potato juice. and keep the cotton pads on your eyelids. After 15 to 20 minutes wash your eyes will cold water.

To reduce puffiness of your eyes, grate a potato, tie in a cloth and place the cloth over your eyes for about 15 minutes.

For bright and sparkling eyes ,add a small pinch of salt in water and wash your eyes.

Crush a cucumber and take the juice. Add a little rose water and apply around the eyes and wash it after 20 minutes.

Place cotton wool swabs dipped in cold milk on closed eyes for removing dark circles for 10-15 minutes daily before sleeping.

Crush a cucumber and take out the juice. Add a little rose water and apply around the eyes and wash it after 30 minutes.

You can also put cucumber slices on youe eye lids for 10 minutes to soothen your eyes.

Coconut oil massage daily for 5 minutes before sleeping will help will help you a lot in removing your dark circles.

Slice one small piece of a potato, and cut the slice in half. Put each slice under your eyes and leave them under your eyes for 20 minutes.

You can place slightly warm tea bags over your eyes 10-15 minutes to lessen dark circles.

try some cold packs under your eyes, cold cucumber slices are good. The longer term however is to look at your sleep hygiene issues. If you are in your mid teens you need 8-10 hrs of sleep per night. It is natural for a teen to want to go to sleep later and of course society screws that up by making high school start times ridiculously early. If you cannot sleep before 3- 4 am and if you can do this try going to bed an hour later each night ie 3 am tonight 4 am the next night until you get back to going to bed 8-10 hrs before you have to get up. This problem is referred to medically as phase shift.

make up will work but really, why are you staying up so late? Last year I had depression really bad (but didn't want to realize it) and there'd be some days where I wouldn't sleep at all, but most of the time I was in bed at four. I hated it and it was hard to get back on schedule but really see a therapist if you are having problems with sleeping and aren't feeling too happy! But yes, sleep more, eat better, drink more water and your skin will glow!

From my knowledge you can use coco butter. But You need to keep using it for a while to decrease the circles. That and get more hours of sleep. That will help too. trust me. Been there, done that. *lol*

As much as it is Human nature to sleep and rest, it's also human nature to get no sleep at all.

A quick fix is Maybelline Pure Stay powder compact. I even use it to cover clients hickies sometimes!!! It is good, light enough not to look cakey, but covers circles wonderfully.

Put a cold compress on them like sliced cucumbers or an eye mask. Also, Clinique "all about eyes" is a miracle!

umm...eat soaked almonds, apply almond cream if you get it at any of the stores around...try aromatherapy...sleep if you feel like it...try the almond cream i think its what my friend used. And if they don't go away..lurk in the darkness.
