No!! I have been to scientific museums and at Hershey Park they have a museum that has boxes that you put your hands in and try to figure out what it is that you are touching. There is a lot of laughing, giggling and sometimes screaming going on at that museum. I was in charge of a group of kids there and I was often saying out LOUD where is so and so. Has anyone seen so and so. At the scientific museums there are hundreds of kids playing with the interactive displays plus they are asking questions loudly. So no a museum is not a wake but a place to discover.

Yes. It is like an art gallery and a library, you are requested to be quiet to allow others to observe and study in peace.

  • Not as much so as in a library, perhaps, but yes, generally. It's alright to speak to those close to you in a quiet tone, but it shows a lack of class to yell or talk loudly.

Yes! Tho I'm not, not always... Just pretend you're excited about art and start doing a long analysis of the piece you're closest to.
