Anyone have or know of a good recipie for Chocolate Syrup.?
Chocolate syurp for ice cream.
I'm sick of buying hershey's. That stuff is getting expensive.

I have a good one-my husband LOVES it
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup choc. chips
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
melt butter in saucepan
add milk
then choc. chips
add powdered sugar a little at a time
and add vanilla
turn down to low heat and simmer for 10 minutes or so(it will start to thicken a little0
There you go. It makes a good amount and can be refrigerated and reheated whenever you want

1/2 cup Cocoa
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dash of salt
Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Add water, and mix until smooth. Bring this mixture to a boil. Allow it to boil for one minute, being careful that it does not boil over. Remove from heat and let cool. When cool, add vanilla extract.
