An alligator lizard can bite a human finger, but other than that - most lizard's are too small to bite an adult sized finger.
A lizard won't ever attack a human or anything other than a small bug, I've only seen alligator lizards ever try to use any type of offense. Most just run away. My cat keeps bringing in live lizards inside the house and lots of times I put on a glove to get rid of them - they never tried to bite.

It depends on where you live. In Arizona there are Gila monsters that live around where people live and their bites hurt and are venomous. Aligator lizards live almost anywhere and can bite and do hurt. Fence lizards on the east coast, loose nile monitors in Florida, there are even reports of loose monitors in Eastlake in California. All can get big enough to bite and hurt you. So YES, any lizard can bite humans, it just varies by size and type whether or not it will hurt.

well it depends on what lizard you have. For example, leopard geckos and bearded dragons do not have a tendency to bite. But some like the golden gecko will bite. And it all matters if the pet owner harms the animal or not. Always research the pet before you get one

no, just don't bother them or you might have a lizard hanging on the end of your finger.

no, but when I was a girl I would catch em and dangle them on my ear like an earring. Don't put them in your ear, not the smartest thing to do.

Their mouths are too small to actually do anything, but they can latch onto something like your earlobe. However, it's not painful, and actually pretty amusing.
