I have 2 acres and plan to roll the yard. Is there a right way or a wrong way to roll a lawn?

The roller is water filled and I will be pulling it with a 1450 Cub Cadet garden tractor. Any suggestions would be appreciated

You do not roll a lawn. The purpose of a lawn roller is to flatten the soil before you plant a lawn.

The right way is to park the roller out front and put a "For Sale" sign on it.

I agree, I have never seen any benefit from rolling a lawn.

you don't roll lawns...it causes soil compaction.. which means the roots don't have any space to grow, water doesn't soak into the ground - instead it runs off...and so many other damaging effects...don't roll your lawn
