I forgot the password to my account, can I still delete the account?

I would recommend you to recover your password using the following URL:

You should be able to recover the password using the above URL. You just need to confirm your account details.

Without your account details (Date of Birth etc.) you will not be able to recover your password. Neither you will be able to get your a/c deleted.

There are several steps to take if you believe you have forgotten your password:

1. Ensure you typed the correct password. Remember, passwords are case sensitive. See Password Guidelines for more information.

2. Make sure Caps Lock is not enabled on your keyboard.

3. Was the Member ID entered correctly? Make sure you have entered your Member ID and domain which is the same as your full email address.

4. Ensure cookies are enabled.

5. After two unsuccessful attempts, open a new browser window such as Internet Explorer and try again.

You do need the password to delete your account. Can't you click the Forgot Password link and retrieve it that way?

When you click on "forgot password?" what do you get? If you get a question you can't answer, then I guess you will have to give up trying to delete SOMEONE ELSE's account!

is the account hacked? is the account yours? :P properly any way there are selections.. If u can convince 50 frnds of that account to record abuse or block that account, facebook will delete the profile.
