You never know when you will meet your match. It can be someone's wedding party, a graduation celebration, any party etc.For grown ups it is very hard to increase the circle of friends, joining a new activity or a club could help.Good luck- just keep an eye, and go out more.

Get out and do things that you like to do. If you try to go to bars (which you say you don't like) the relationship won't last. You have to meet them in places that you and them like. If you're a church goer try getting involved in more church activities. If you like kids, try volunteering at the Boys and Girls Clubs. All in all, social activity will help you meet more people. And meeting more people will increase your odds.

Dr Phil has a dating service and I am told it works. You enter those things important to you. The dating services are more respectable now, and it couldn't hurt.
