Depending on what you like you could start with some really easy stuff.

Chop Onion and some garlic add to a hot pan. Smell the aromas. To this you could add any thing eg.

    1. Add some stock and vegetable and leave for half hour and whala! Soup. USe chicken stock and throw in some noodles 5 minutes before the end and you'll have chicken noodle soup.

    2. Add tomatoes (canned are fine), salt, basil (fresh or dried) Tablespoon of tomato puree and some olive oil and you have a basic pasta sauce.

The best thing you can do is ensure you have the basics in your cupboard and fridge.

    Dried

Basil, Oregano, Salt, Pepper, Chilli, Curry powder.

    Canned

    Coconut milk, tomatoes, corn, beans.

    Some basic fresh vegies

Beans, broccoli, capsicum (peppers), onions, garlic, fresh ginger, tomatoes, potatoes.

Basically think of your favourite foods and what's in them. Look next time your eating out, what flavour is that?

Remember hard vegies (cauliflower, carrots, pumpkin) take longer to cook. Watch a couple of cooking shows they often give some great basic tips.

Not sure if it helps but good luck

If it's just you, go for salads and sandwiches, or even grilled chicken on a George Foreman grill.

    Some easy things:

Grilled chicken, sliced in strips w/ red and/or green peppers and rice (you can microwave the rice - directions on box) in a warm tortilla w/ a couple tablespoons of salsa

Get a couple kinds of lunchmeat, a couple kinds of cheese, some lettuce, tomato, mayo, whatever you want and make sandwiches! Even PB&J, grilled cheese, or tuna fish will work!

    7 Layer Salad:

    Lettuce

Red onions (I usually skip this so mine's actually 6 layer salad, but whatever)

    Celery (diced)

    Peas (frozen, thawed)

Miracle Whip Salad dressing (thin layer) with a little bit of sugar sprinkled over (thins out the Miracle Whip)

    Shredded cheese

    Bacon Pieces

    SO GOOD! And super easy!!

    Have fun

Your gonna have to learn to cook. Cook the simple stuff first. Frozen foods. Just read the box and it'll tell you how to cook. Like Frozen Lausagna, or hamburger helper thats easy stuff just get 1 pound of ground beef and read the instructions. Easy just learn. Good Luck!

You can cook anything if you know how to use a microwave. Almost everything you buy now has microwave instructions. Trust me I know, I do not cook either!
