You may submit your application to go into the active force at anytime you so desire. You application should be approved if there is a need for your MOS and it not over, I mean they have more people doing your job than they have jobs.
Another consideration is that your national guard unit is not under strength by a lot. If they are under by a lot they might not approve your application.
One thing to remember is that the active duty force normally supersede the national guard, so even with being under strength there is a possibility that you will sail through without a hitch, and all the discussion is null and void.
I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

Yes you can. You have to have a certain GT score and some more things too. I think that your asvfab has to be a certain score. You do not have to wait until your enlistment is up, I am sure of that one.

yup, people change all the time, find out and see what the requirements are, hopefully you qualify. I find the Air force to be alto more family friendly. Doesn't hurt to try.

Yes you can change, you have to go through the whole recruitment thing again, but you also get this piece of paper telling your commasnd of your intentions, they have to approve and then you got to wherever for boot camp.
