Best Friend married an @55h0l3.?

The relationship is pretty much over, but he's still living with her until the end of the month & being verbally abusive. I really want to hurt him, I offered her(and her 1-yr old) crash space if she needed it. She makes all the money, he took care of the kid while she was working, her office lets her work from home, so no big loss. This guy is being a supreme d1ck, and I feel helpless to do anything, as she hasn't asked for help. I really want to help her, no one should put up with this kind of abuse, let alone this goddess I've known all my life.

There is not much that you can do-unfortunately! She has to be the one to call it quits, she has to be the one that asks you for help....in a friendship it is hard to let your friend wonder off in to an "IFFY" relationship, especially because people on the out side can see so much more than the one "IN LOVE" they are automatically blind sided, your friend knows that you have offered and that no matter what, you will be there, and that my friend is all you could have done, just to let her know....the rest is up to her. Just when she does finally need you, make sure that you are there to help her pick up her pieces. It will be ALOT harder for her to call it quits now because of her 1yr old-crazy but sometimes, a mom leaving a relationship feels as if she is letting her child(ren) down, for not being able to give them the father they need-especially new Mommy's. Women have the tendency to fix things, we can easily fall to where we may think in our head that we can fix the broken man we love! In actuality it is in possible to fix anyone-people have to fix them selves. Just hang in there I understand how tough it can be to feel helpless for your friend, but she will come in good time, she just has to do it on her own!! Good Luck!! Try to keep smiling :)

    on another note...

if's she's not asking for help why get involved?

sounds like she's a strong woman so let her handle it.

this is not grade school anymore...sometimes women need to grow up and mind their own business.
