Was it?~ and did anyone else see the season finale?! if so did u freak out?! Is he dead?! (im not saying who bc i dont wanna ruin it for any1.. lol)

I hope it's not. I mean, OTH won the MSNBC poll and other polls. And also Kristen's SOS poll with 44%of the votes. I don't know if this will actually garantee that OTH will back, but it'll definitely help. There's also a OTH rally going on this Saturday in NYC to help save the show.
And yes, i watched the season finale last wednesday.

It may be the last season, but it has not been decided yet. The CW is releasing their fall schedule in the middle of this month, at which time everyone will know what shows made it and which ones didn't. Recently, I have read that One Tree Hill was one of the shows the could go either way (cancellation or renewal), so stay tuned!
