What church would you go to in the US if you come from the Church of England in the UK? (most compatible pls.)

I would like to ask for the most compatible in terms of beliefs.

The Episcopalian Church is the American arm of the Church of England. No doubt, there are some differences (cultural, more than anything else), but the two touch bases often enough that you should feel right at home.

The most compatible and abundant is the Methodist Church. It is not different in beliefs so much being the closest to the Catholic Church in style and form.

However in reality in the US no two Methodist churches are alike some will be liberal, some conservative, some more structured, some not so structured. Their will certainly be many choices available depending on where you are going in the US but even a small US town should have a couple of choices. The US is a land of churches and founded on religious freedom. I am sure you will find a church that you will be welcome at and comfortable in.

    Cheers

The Episcopal church is a branch of the Anglican Church of England. They work together in most areas, and the services have the same style.

The Episcopal Church is in full communion with the Church of England. They are part of the Anglican family.

Find a nondenominational, Bible teaching, Jesus preaching church. Don't know how compatible that is with the Church of England, but it would be a good start to shake off the dust.

The Church of England is Protestant so the best thing to do is just search for Protestant churches in the US.
