What do you think about David Blaine?

I think he's an interesting guy who likes to push his body to its limits.

and he performs some pretty crazy street magic.

David Blaine is an overrated street illusionist who is nearing the death of his career which is why he pulled a ridiculous life threatening stunt as he did. Wow no one cares! Criss Angel performed this feat back in 2002. Criss Angel performs on the street and has had hundreds of performances in front of people. David Blaine, only uses the television for his performances so he can manipulate the angles. Criss Angel is the "real thing". No one cares about David Blaine anymore. David Blaine can disintegrate as quickly as his career as far as I'm concerned.

I think David Blaine is suicidal. I couldnt even watch it last night.

Well I was surprised today to find out that he is only 33.

I have mixed feelings on him. I think he is a bit nuts. But very brave.

I value my life and my body far too much to knowingly do something that will damage it the way he does. Yet it is brave to push your body to those limits and just see what it can handle.

All in the name of entertainment I guess!

I really don't think he is going to be able to hold his breath for nine minutes. If he does, it's going to be because he was somehow getting some sort of air supply that we aren't going to be able to see. I just don't see it being possible. Furthermore, I don't really see WHY he is doing this. What does it have to do with magic?!?! I saw him when he tried to stay in an ice cube and thought it was boring. At least we only have to watch his underwater endeavor for nine minutes!! I say he should stop trying to break pointless Guiness Book records and go back to fun street magic!!

To be honest a lot of his street magic tricks weren't very original, just gimmicks you can buy at any magic shop (and some of the videos were edited like the Balduci levitation). Yet I think he's a cool performer and I like his stunts too.

I like his street magic shows, but have wondered about the significance of the last few stunts. Where'd the magic tricks go? Who wants to watch a guy spend day after day under water? I mean....woo-hoo. I want more chicken beheadings miraculously healed and levitation and junk.....yeah.....

Wants to draw attention to himself. I think he's a clown. Did not accomplish what he said he would. Credibility is now zero. What did he accomplish staying inside the ball? Just to lose pounds and come out as a huge prune? Pffft...

Street magic - awesome

I love him. I almost cried last night I wanted him to break that freakin record! AAWW But yeah I think he is a very very talented man.

I think he is on a suicide mission. I also think he is a narcisstic man who wants A LOT of attention. He needs to get a life.
