That's a toughie!!! It really depends on your position. Are you in any way above her or responsible for her performance? If so, definately yes. You have the right and responsibility to correct her. If you are simply co-workers....no; unless her duties and yours intertwine in such a way that you could be mistakenly blamed for her carelessness. Poor grammar could be due to lack of intellect or laziness. Not much you can do about either. If the two of you are somewhat friends, you could try using light humor as an attempt to correct her. If not, then any real attempt at correcting her will only breed resentment and ill-will. You may even end up a laughingstock as the "grammar police". Best advice, assuming that you're not her superior, just leave it alone. Eventually the boss will realize that she's not that bright. However, if she's doing her job and doing it well, nothing may come of it. If that's the case, you need to leave your pet peeve at the door. Good Luck

Don't you mean "I work with a girl WHO has the worst grammar ever!"? But who am I to correct you?
If you work at Taco Bell... no
If you work in an office...yes

If her grammar effects communicating clearly with others, and causes problems on the job, then it may need to be addressed, if it doesn't, leave it alone.

I personally wouldn't, but I know exactly how you feel. My friend's mom does that same thing and it drives me crazy. Her most common one is GOTS! I hate that!! So, I would just ignore it if I were you. If it's just one mistake, then I might correct her, but if it's every other word, it would just embarrass both of you and probably take all day.

YES!! most definitely but it needs to be subtle and non threatening ....something of a sort : hey I used to say "very unique" all the time until very recently I've learned that "unique" is just "unique" :)...

I think she would get angry if you try to correct her. You should just leave it alone because she might just talk that way around her peers.

Yes, she's in a working environment. She needs to be professional in how she talks and how she writes.

Are you willing to cast the first stone? Hypocrite.
Do you not see the mistake you made in your question?
