My '93 Jeep Cherokee cruise control is broken. How do I debug and fix it?

    Check to see if you have brake lights.If they are out too, your brake light switch is probably out, and needs replaced. This switch also causes the cruise control to fail. Most are located behind the brake pedal (under the dash), and are relatively easy to change. If brake lights are working, you have a separate problem.

    sell it, a week after my cruise control went on my 93 grand cherokee it died on the highway. It was a 4.0 at 185,000 miles

    Check the cruise control servo and for any broken air hoses.

    dont use cruise control!
