It could be your soil. Certain elements may not be in your soil to produce blooms. Try Ironite brand plant food. It replaces nutrients lost by irrigation. It's NPK rating is 7-6-6. It has 7% Nitrogen 6%Phosphorus(phosphates) and 6% Potassium. Be sure and follow label directions.

Source(s): Past experience and a green thumb. Good Luck with your Wisteria. Once it does bloom, your nose will be in for a treat from the fragrance.

i think wysteria trees are beautiful, but never planted one cuz i had heard they can take 7 to 10 years to produce their first blossoms....i'm too impatient to wait......hang in there, i bet it will be beautiful..

i do like the answer above about the too much fertilizer....

Why not buy plant food...that usually works. If not, maybe its a sun plant and you have it in a shady area. Look into it and see what you can find out. If it is a sun plant and its in the sun, it may just need more vitamins than the soil is providing.

    Good luck!

There is alot of information on the Web. Just put Wisteria in your search box hit "Search" and you'll have 100's of choices. It is time consuming I know but you will get the answer you need. Try ASK.com or Google.

There is always the chance you have a "male" plant that doesn't bloom.

I once had two rose bushs, bought same time and place, only one ever bloomed.. weird huh?

Too much fertilizer. This will produce leafy growth, but little/no blooms.

Does it get the required hours of sunlight per day? Do you regularly fertilise it?
