Where can I go on holiday to escape all the world cup hype?

    To US, especially away from major cities where TV channels will still mention World Cup games. Any of the summer resorts by Great Lakes, or on the East coast will probably not hear much world cup talks.

    Try a southern state. They are usually not into soccer. I would try to stay in a place like Charlesto, SC or Savannah, GA. I would recommended a nice bed and breakfast. I think you would enjoy very much!

    The US...it still hasn't really caught on here. Some interest, but certainly not like the rest of the world....unfortunately!

    Puerto Rico is in the Caribbean. You have a lot of places to go, specially the beaches!

    Germany. Honestly you could both go. One for the footie and one to explore the beautiful culture and food etc.
