Fingernail polish in the carpet. Help!?
My three yr old got into my fingernail polish and it's in my carpet. How do I or can I remove it. I'm afraid nail polish remover will ruin it.

It depends on how much got into the carpet. If there is only a drop or two and it has dried the best thing to do is to snip the fiber it is on. If some spilled on the carpet first don't let it dry. Place a moist towel on top if you have to.
Second you will have to use the finger nail polish remover (acetate). Very important do not apply directly to the carpet. It is ok to put on a rag and then blot onto the carpet. You will probably need to do this 10 times. Keep moving to a clean spot on the rag after you get polish transfer. If you get too much acetate on the carpet it will ruin the backing. Just make sure you keep blotting it.
If the polish has dried you are not going to get it out.

This occurred to me on white carpet with crimson nail polish...there is truly no longer too plenty you're able to do. If it is hardened on the carpet you may attempt reducing the coolest of the carpet the place the nail polish is with small scissors (it sounds loopy yet once you do it in small snips it is going to no longer be major...notwithstanding it additionally relies upon on how thick or tall, i think, your carpet is) If it is extra like a stain and not all hardened then lease a steam cleanser. it would artwork, or attempt some verify and scrub the carpet as much as you may. The nail polish remover might help slightly (staring on the many times happening of the nail polish)
