Try degaussing..it is probably within the button on your monitor, set color etc.. when get to degauss push the button and it will remove static, worth a shot

If you have an option to Degauss, use that. Check the on-screen display on the monitor to see if you can find that.

Because CRTs use magnets and magnetic fields to deflect the electrons to the screen phosphors, you can see weird colors if you have another device with magnets near the screen (e.g. unshielded speakers). Try moving those away.

However, in some cases the effect can be permanent. I have one monitor where our 4 year-old dragged a magnet all over the screen making "pretty colors". No amount of degaussing has been able to fix the screen. Similar problem with a TV monitor at work that has a permanent 'green' area.

    Good luck.

Go into the display window and change the background. Your monitor may have burnt the image in that area. Change your screen saver too and see if that helps

It's from damage to the monior. It may not be permanent. Your speakers are probobly too close. (they have an annoying habit of ruining monitors, ironically)

Make sure there's no magnets or even electronics near the edge of the monitor and it might get better.

try this simple solution to get rid of haze color on your monitor, after you end using your computer remove the power plug of the computer and the monitor to the power strip and reconnect it after 24 hrs, your color will be fix

It can be a sign your monitor is going bad. That happened to me & it eventually covered most of the screen then blacked out.

move your speakers away from your monitor sounds like its a magnet interfering with screen display.
