Who thinks this is totally cruel?

Piercing a dogs ear!!!!!!!!!1 OH MY GOD What were they thinking or the lack of.. As for piercing babies ears I think it wrong but I don't approve it eighter I think when the child is old enough to make that decision it should be up tp that child not an adult...

There is nothing cruel about it. That dog probably has a cushier life than some of the people out where i live. Just because YOU don't like it, doesn't make it wrong. All of my dogs have mico chips IMPLANTED in them so that they can be identified and protected if they stray from our land. Is that cruel? Same concept, but a different reason. We have beeon doing it for a long time to cattle, sheep, hogs, you name it. Ears are made of catalige, and yeah it hurts for a few min, but after that its fine. I have a dog who loves her "jewelry"- collar and tags. If i take it off she whines until she gets it back....if she knew dogs could get their ears pierced shed probably jog her happy butt to the mall.

A dog or puppy has no say in what happens to them but a human does. I think that it is cruel to have a child's ears pierced because that child does not have a say in it. So I do think that it would be cruel to have a dogs ear pierced.

Why would anyone do that? It seems like it could cause damage to the ear, and it's not like the animal has a choice in it. Not only that, but the animals might tear his ears if the earring gets caught in something, or if he tries to scratch them out.

I don't like it when people get their baby's ears pierced either. What if when the little girl grows up, she decides she never wanted her ears pierced? It's stupid and unfair I think. I would be p*ssed off at my mom if she forced something like that on me.

i think maybe its a kind ok cruel 4 dogs but not human because the doogs have a totaly muscular ear but human have a fatty part in human it doesnt hurt that much u have to try its not that pain that u think but when u see the kids crying that must be because ok the sound that the machin do.

and in animals they get some more cruel thiing like denailing (removing of nails) and some have a vocal cord cut (voice cord) so u know i dont any thing more to say

as for the chinchilla it is wrong!no animal should suffer this report the pet shop! ears on animals are a way to 'sweat' because animals cannot sweat they release heat from there paws,mouth and ears. plus you are right there are a lot of nerve endings in the ears though tagging for cattle is aparently only as painfull as a human having its ears peirced (i dunno who asked a cow this?) its not right because an animal cannot argue any point they just have to take it

Yes that is a very cruel act. It might look cool to some people but in fact it is cruel.

I also think the pets love the attention..My Lil Poodle Chino loves his leather bomber jacket.He Struts all around when he has it on.....Lmao

THAT IS SICKO AND COMPLETELY (can i swear) DAMED! dogs do not wear earrings, unless they are forced to which is done by cruel and nasty people. therefore someone should do something about for the chiuauas sake.
