the only insults you got were from the comments. The Asker DID have a sense of humour, he was being sarcastic when he said you were clearly 'begging on your knees'. your answer wasn't cynical per se, so most people probably didn't find it humourous.

The comments were pretty childish though. If someone's answer wasn't picked, then boohoo get over it. Don't complain at the person who WAS picked.

Yeah. I think you should be able to refuse that 10 points. I mean he should have chose you for the 10 points and not even leave a message.... Or just by passed your answer. But I agree with you it was uncalled for. Maybe there should be a way to report askers that are rude to their answerers.
