    approximately 5% of its equivalent in incandescent.

    Try to use Leds in Traffic Lights.

    You'll see the difference between the leds and the regular traffic lights, when it's sunny.

    Plus, it doesn't consume much current.

    led's pretty much never die, and require almost no power to run. usually ALL the other components of a circuit will fail before theres a problem with one led.

    MUCH BETTER, BUT ALSO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE.WORTH THE COST FOR LONGEVITY.
