Ladies,

take it from a 54 year old gentleman, the best way to get someone's attention is to go and introduce yourself and strike up a conversation about the normal things. Why leave meeting someone to whom you are attracted to chance ,unless of course, you happen to just like the thrill and the gaming aspects? Be clear that you are trying to know enough about somebody to determine if there is real chemistry or any other basis for beginning a relationship. That's all a first encounter should be.

Oh, and about meeting new people in bars, unless you are exceptionally mature and sexually savvy, it is not recommended for novices for too many reasons to mention here.

I'M THE TYPE OF PERSON WHO WILL START THE CONVERSATION WITH A MAN. SOME OF YOU ARE SHY WHEN IT COMES TO THE LADIES! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DRIVEN TO MAKE THE FIRST MOVE IF IT'S SOMETHING I WANT. I DON'T PLAY GAMES WHEN I'M OUT, I'M NOT GOING TO A BAR TO GET DRINKS BOUGHT FOR ME. I WORK A FULL TIME JOB SO I CAN AFFORD TO DO THAT MYSELF. AT THE SAME TIME I'LL BUY A DRINK WALK OVER TO A MAN I'M INTERESTED IN HAVE A SEAT NEXT TO HIM A CHAT, AFTERWARDS IF A DRINK IS OFERED I WILL USUALLY SAY "THANKS FOR THE OFER BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO!" I HAVE FOUND THAT MEN WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE A WOMEN THEY CAN HOLD A CONVERSATION WITH AND NOT WORRY ABOUT SPENDING ALL THIS MONEY TO SEE WHAT WILL COME OUT OF IT. A FEW TIMES I HAVE EVEN OFERED TO BUY THE MAN A DRINK OR TWO, ITS ALL ABOUT THE CHEMISTRY IN MY EYES.

I'll start with eye contact, and if he doesn't get the hint I'll send him a drink, and if I still, nothing I go and say hi. But that's just me.You will most likely find that most women probably don't do this, But I was lucky to grow up with 8 brothers and it became obvious that satellite doesn't work, or at least not very often.

An interested smile, open body language. If they seem responsive in turn, I would give a wave or walk up and introduce myself. Face it, unless one of you takes some initiative then how will you ever actually meet. I am not saying that I have not had my share of disappointments in the past, but I have had more positive than negative experiences.

I would try eye contact first with a smile. After observing and noticing that he was single and must be too shy to take the bait I would walk up to him and say hi and compliment him on something like his shirt, eyes, or smile whichever one caught my attention the most. :)

Eye contact, a geniune smile and play with my hair. If i was feeling brave that day i would just go over and talk to that person.

I would look in his direction and smile and like the other one said lots of eye contact and smile a lil just to give him a hint of intrest....
